{transition to gray} four years!

The last time I dyed my hair was just before thanksgiving in 2020.

I am fast approaching 4 years.

I have my moments I want to dye my hair. Many of them.

I feel like it makes me look older, because few women are embracing their age and hair color.

But honestly, even if I did dye it, there’s a point where the hair color no longer looks natural with too much gray.

It also requires constant dyeing every 3-4 weeks.

And lots of chemical exposure I don’t want.

I’m trying to embrace what God gave me.

It’s not bad. My hair is still rather thick (but thinner than it was 20 years ago). And healthy.

I did start using the purple enhancer (in my conditioner every 3-4 days). It does seem to help, but I still have light brown in my hair, so it’s a weird combination.

I definitely don’t regret going gray, but I do feel older at times.

The left was about one year of growth, I think.

My original dye color

If more women embraced the color God gave them (and stopped messing up their faces) we would be so much better off!!

Love you all!
