{Outdoor Life} Garden of the Gods

{Outdoor Life} Garden of the Gods

The weather and “indoor life” are finally getting to us. We had a pretty good blizzard, then some snow (March is our snowiest month anyway) and it’s finally starting to warm up. We decided we needed a big outdoor day so we walked around the Garden of the Gods and did some “bouldering.” We experienced some giant flakes for the first 10 minutes, some clouds, and some sunshine and the weather was about 50 degrees when we finished. {outdoor life} sledding

While their sister was snowboarding, I took the three youngest to a great free sledding hill in Frisco. If you get a chance, the adventure park has free sledding and rents sleds if you need one. They even have a public restroom. Between the snowboards and gear, we didn’t have much room for sleds, so we brought our inexpensive disks. They didn’t hold up well, but we still managed to have great fun.
