Occasionally, I pop into social media to see what’s going on with our prodigal children.
I still care about them. I still pray for them. I still desire they walk with Jesus and see truth, no matter how many lies they have told about us, no matter how many public insults they have hurled at us, not matter how much they feel like victims, I still love them.
Occasionally, I see something like this:
And I realize no one in their lives is offering a single challenge to their world view. Their world view has been strictly formed by social media, by what they perceive is the most popular “moral position,” not by critical thinking…or even education.
This graphic is a straw man argument. First, illegals immigrants are just that: illegal. They broke the law from the minute they stepped on soil. You don’t have a right to invade someone’s country, just like you don’t have a right to walk in someone’s house and reside there. Laws make for a civilized nation. Without them, there is no protection of anyone.
Visa holders are guests. They are protected like citizens, but are not guaranteed to stay in a county. Anyone in a foreign country must live by their laws, or face the prospect of ejection. If you are protesting against the country giving you the privilege of being a guest, you risk deportation. If you are bending the laws, and protesting in public spaces supported by taxpayer money, and you have direct ties to terrorist organizations (like Khalil who is a part of an org that says they will bring Oct 7 to the USA), then you should be deported.
Temporary status is…temporary. If you have a job on probation, you don’t have a permanent job. You must prove your worth to the company to remain. You are not a full citizen.
Birthright citizenship has been used for chain migration for 50 years. The 14th amendment was to ensure the children of freed slaves their own freedom and FULL citizenship. It was NEVER intended to allow someone to cross the border and give birth, not by the drafters of the amendment, nor by those that ratified it. In fact, there are many cases where military members had to apply for citizenship for their children born overseas. Citizenship is guaranteed to at least one American citizen, and not even then if that citizen has lived overseas for more than a decade!
And now to the law:
Naturalized citizens are citizens. All of the previous categories are strawman arguments to detract from the actual issue of illegal migration. Biden expanded every category of immigration whether they qualified or not—why—because democrats believe giving free stuff will create voters.
And it does. Democrats ballot harvest by going to homes of people that don’t speak English and get them to fill out ballots in favor of Dems, then they turn them in. They steal taxpayer money through NGOs and give free stuff to illegals, give them licenses, free places to live…
Want the truth? Come visit. I’ll take you downtown and show you the truth. Our homeless veterans and citizens are on the street with no help. Illegals are in hotels, driving unregistered cars, free cellphones, job training, food stamps…why? Because the NGOs get money from democrat legislatures, to provide the housing at a serious profit. But honestly, you will never learn the truth, because you don’t want it. You want to feel morally superior without doing any actual work to learn anything. You have been in an echo chamber for so long, you don’t know how to critically think about anything. We had hoped when your brain matured, and you had kids, you would start to search for truth. But I am losing hope by the day.
PS you chose not to have a support system. You intentionally and spitefully eliminated anyone who would give you truth, and with that, went your support. Some day, you might take accountability and inventory of your life, and when you do, God give you comfort for all that you destroyed in your own life out of spite.
