We had a quiet Sunday morning church service and Bible study.
We had a couple teens from church over for a game of Catan and Irish Stew.
The girls left to teach children’s choir, and Hubby and I went to Kohls to spend our $50 Kohls cash (bought a college comforter/sheet/pillow set, two sets of twin flannel sheets, earring gift box for one of my girls, and a set of silicone spatulas and spent $11).
On the way to evening service, this happened:
It stopped on our way just minutes later.
Then, 30 minutes into service, we lost power. Our rock star Pastor finished his sermon with the help of a cellphone light and a voice that projects:
The rest of us used our own cellphones to see our bibles and take notes:
It was a sweet service.
