Since I was recently booted from Instagram without any warning, this time my profile was completely deleted (sure it was, I’m sure Facebook is still hanging on to my data after deleting my account 4 years ago), I have resorted to sharing again on here.
This site has had many iterations over the years, but it’s mostly just for my own personal journal these days.
We were up at O’dark thirty this morning. And as I write this, I realize I forgot to take a picture with the girls before coming into the airport—sorry girls! All three girls at home came to the airport with us (they are sweethearts) and left us with hugs.
I’m not a fan of traveling these days. I’m so tired of having to give up every privacy right just to travel. I used to adore traveling and did often when we kids, even unaccompanied.
The lady at check-in at Southwest was fantastic!! She was bright and cheerful and asked questions about our cruise. It was a smooth check-in.
We went to the new side of TSA at Denver Airport. It was…interesting. It went faster than I expected, but most people were at the old side of the security. The “new” side is where the concourse across to A was.
There is an optional AI screening. Optional. When you give them your ID, they can take a photo.. and compare it to your ID using AI to analyze the facial features.
Personally, I find it disturbing. I said “no thank you!” In the cheeriest voice I could find.
The TSA agent said “oh you’re one…” then stammered something, sounded like “those.”
Yes, I am one of those.
She tried to sell me that they don’t save the photo, it is deleted right away! Sure it is lady, just like Facebook and Instagram “deleted” my profiles and data. I don’t want to participate in the police state.
We stopped and got a breakfast burger at Smashburger, and here I am making sure I can still post on here.

I *think* we have everything. I hate that feeling that I’m not sure if I have everything. I got cranky on the way trying to go through a checklist and hubby had nothing to add to remind me. 😜 My biggest issue is making sure I brought everything for the cruise; there’s not a wealth of shopping available on a cruise if I forget.
The good news is, no hurricanes in the area.

Gotta hit the loo before we board, or I’m gonna aggravate the person sitting on the aisle.
See ya soon peeps!
